@chemixaL You're spot on. And I think the Land Cruiser costs about $20,000 more in the U.S. (low $40's compared to low $60's). That's a lot of off-road technology to pay for if you don't need it.

I don't know what are they talking about, but the fact that they're comparing an Off-road car with an SUV, that sometimes comes in FWD tells a lot. You don't choose between a Land Cruiser and the XC. If you buy a land cruiser, you pick it from Grand Cherokee, Nissan Patrol, Mitsubishi Pajero and Range Rover. If you buy an XC90, you are considering X5, Touareg, Q7, Highlander, Tribeca etc.
