@TheBerkeleyBear Not everyone wishes to take the time to really learn so they can better their craft. They think it will just magically come, and then years from now they will wonder why they never finished a good novel, movie script, etc.

My storytelling teacher isn't a very good one. :(

She tells us about freedom, imagination, and writing, and to "Just Keep Writing." What ends up is we write chains of events and ideas. We submit to her and she tells us there is no "main focus" in the story (Which is actually the Goal.) She destroys our stories and says it has structural flaws but she never introduced structures and how they link to each other. ;( I am doing really bad for Midterms.
