@towneegirl5 well, status quo recorded it 9 years later, so I guess the timed it better, and still think it's a very good cover...As with much covers, it gives the original a chance on a come-back. Seeing that, after status quo, this single still didn't peak, I guess many people disagree with your opinion.....

Status Quo must never be forgiven for murdering this "classic". Bolland & Bolland never got the recoginition that they deserved in the UK for this this song!

Erkläre ich gerne: Mein Kommentar bezog sich auf einen (komischerweise jetzt nicht mehr sichtbaren) Post, in dem es (auf Englisch) sinngemäß hieß: Diese Version Sch..., Quo-Version super, Nur Briten und Amerik. können vernünftige Musik machen, die Holländer sollten dabei bleiben, Käse zu produzieren und Joints zu rauchen. Ich wollte sagen: Offenbar denkst Du nur in Klischees (und 'Achtung Schw....' ist halt das Klischee über Deutsche (und ihre Sprache) aus den US/GB-Kriegsfilmen).
