BMW 2002 race car dyno run

This is a BMW 2002 race car that we built and here is the dyno testing. The sound on the video doe not do it justice to how loud it really is. 137 wheel horsepower may not sound like a lot, but this is at the rear wheels and out of a 2 litre motor. "137...but this is at the rear wheels and out of a 2 liter." I love these cars, but it's more so the weight (or lack there of) that makes them fun. 137whp would be shit if it weren't so light, rwd or not. Look what rotaries can do with a 1.3L; again 137 for the displacement isn't a big deal.

I think 02powertube has the right idea! Nice car regardless though; can't wait to get started on mine.

Any spec on the engine?

137 is enough to have fun, but mostely they run around 170-200HP in the classic races here in Denmark.

I am looking forward to get my own 02 on the dyno, i hope for + 150 :-)

I will post a video later this summer, Im running in the engine right now, all rebuild.

Actually, 137 hp @ the wheels does sound like a lot...that kind of power dosen't happen by accident!
