The Gambia, an English speaking ex-British colony on the West Coast of Africa is a country with a great deal to offer - stunning scenery, amazing wildlife, great beaches and some of the most welcoming people anywhere in the world.

  • The Gambia is a great winter sun destination - a hot and virtually rain-free climate every winter.

yes it mostly a muslim country! you should also try the yassah!

  • do they serve halal meat there?

  • Such a Westernized view of what could potentially be an awesome advertisement based solely on the culture of Gambia rather than the resorts it offers.

  • just got back.Gambia is a brilliant holiday destination

  • gambia is a expensive trip

  • My sisters man is a gambian. He's a very dedicated muslim, he says he loves Allah more than his children, and he loves his children beyond anything I've ever seen. And he loves Allah more because he brought him to america so that he could study and avoid the extreme poverty. He's so thankful for his new life, even though they live in a dump in Detroit, he's always so positive and forward. A real good man. And I hope all gambians are like that. Peace and love!

  • i was born in gambia

  • If you love Gambian music check out Musa M'Boob and XamXam the new sound of Gambia.

"Really complex rhythms, very intriguing. Jolly good stuff!"

    - DJ Ritu, BBC Radio London

"This is the first contemporary Gambian release to emerge in years. Do yourself a favor and show Musa (and Gambia, for that matter) you care about the music!"
