  • I love the brilliantly-composed widescreen shots in these sequences. You have to watch like a detective to see, not only the machinations of the drug buy, but the actions of the detectives in the hall as well.

  • Yes, cool and devastating and what an adaptation of King's Ransom. Filmmaking in this genre doesn't get any better. Watch the 4 minute realtime Bullet Train scene for gripping tension. I think it's Kurosawa's best film by far!
