Having fun in my homemade go kart.

For those saying I'm going slow. Yes, I know I am. I have no seat belt and do not have a helmet. Then I'm on a narrow street with brick mail boxes and kids running around. Lastly the tires are wore out and do not grip, so loosing control is very easy. I would like to live. Thanks for watching.

  • how much was the entire thing? motor and body and all other things.

  • @35Berrin This was a budget build. I'd say right around $500 making and machining everything myself.

  • dude great job on your cart! hows it do at higher speeds? and where did you get those wheels and tires??? they look awesome.

  • Thanks. I haven't had it at high speeds very much because the tires are wore out to the max and are no longer properly balanced. Around 40-50 mph, the whole front end is bouncing around everywhere. But the wheels and tires came off some sort of midget or dwarf type race cars. I'll be posting some more videos when i get new tires mounted.

  • Awesome man! Did you just use the clutch and tranny in the bike motor and hook it up to the axle with a chain? I'm looking to make something like this with a bike motor and an old fun-kart frame.
