Heres another mindblowing song that has been pretty much unknown to most Psych fans. Spiggey Topes recorded a demo tape of four amazing tracks that for some reason were not picked up by any labels and Spiggy Topes dissapeared never to be heard again. The demo tape survived long enough to be included on the Dustbin Full Of Rubbish comp (which is now long out of print). Titled simply "Melinda" on the tape, their version of this classic is one of the best covers I've heard of this song, a track that was recorded by artst from Harry Belafonte to Deep Purple to Psych Legends Velvett Fogg, and more. This was definitley a lo-fi demo take and the band we're not quite in perfect sync but this still is an amazing example of Psych that has been undiscovered.
seen them many many times jeez this takes me back .
