The moment of silence seemed like an afterthought to the "UCA is safe! Get your friends to enroll!" speech. Really the thing that upset me a bit was the insensitivity towards Jewish, Muslim, Agnostic, Wiccan, Atheist, Buddhist, etc students who are UCA students as well. The whole religious observance should've waited for the 'prayer vigil' the day after.

I disagree, I think President Courtway has handled himself very well, all things considering. ...and wasn't that "moment of silence" at the vigil for the two who died? definitely was not a uca commercial

During the Candle light vigil he basically said nothing about the children who died and turned the event into a "Go to UCA" commercial. No one said a thing about the people who had died then. I was just so disappointed.
