Hi anyone know what the difference between the amplitude and the evolution is, and wich one you recommened..?
-
if you wear a descent sweater underneath in the winter this is a ripoff the north face charges an extra 150 dollars for the fleece when you can get the outershell for just under 100 dollars and wear a sweater underneath it

@elusivecali S fits for me, and i'm about your size

The outer shell looks like the North Face All Terrain Jacket. Are they equally good, or is this outer shell better than the All Terrain Jacket?

@elusivecali Hi,
For sizes the best thing would be to look at a size chart, it has all the measurments on there so it will help you choose the right size for you. We have a size chart on our website if you wish to have a look.

Hi, We can advise that the main differences are that the Evolution is a 3 in 1 jacket, incorporating fleece etc, whereas the All Terrain is just the jacket. Both have a waterproof membrane but the All Terrain has the official Gortex material whereas the Evolution has their own brand used of Gortex called High Vent 2 Layer. The Evolution has a 70 denier thickness and the All Terrain has a 75 denier thickness. We hope this information helps. Thank you.
