TC is an arrogant prick. He and his crew came up to Lennox Point/Ballina around the late 80's and he just kept either dropping in or paddling to the inside all the time.

He didn't last very long, he was told to fuck off and a few locals had a go at him in the car park.

When you are traveling you respect the locals.

I've heard about it, seen it and talked about it. But I just can't seem to understand what's so special about it. It's a cool video and T.C is a great surfer on a great wave here, but why this little turn has become so iconic I can't understand?

It was called 'the snap' the mags and north shore was talking about when he did this in the pipe masters ..Pigroota you're wrong, he was correct..Guy posts a killer old video from the late 80s and you call him a douche? What's wrong with people..

Lame title. Why do you call it "the snap" when clearly there are 3 in this vid... douche. Nonetheless, I have been looking for this clip for ages so it's good to see again what i think was the best manoeuvre ever in suring competition. (The first one at 0:18 - douche)
