  • why not fly slowly and save gas and then you would not hit an endangered spotted owl or bald eagle.?

  • This is a very unusual clearance. The final is practically non-existent (I just checked in the A/FD). I see the point, there was a jet on 27R, but still...

    Are clearances like that common at OAK?

  • I'm new to flying but it looked like you almost overshot the runway when turning base to final? I'm geussing that's why you did the go around?

    Please correct me if I'm wrong.
