You know why this part was so good in the film?

They hired an ACTOR to play the part, not a celebrity-thus, a great part of the book came to life on the screen!

Even though, according to David Lynch, this was one of his most frustrating and disappointing endeavors, it's still among my favorite movies of all time. And though it's not completely true to the book, as an artistic interpretation, I find it far better than the other versions

"The sleeper must awaken..." - many people are the opinion, that something is really sleeping inside of us and when it awakes, then we become what we have actually been all the time, but we haven't known it - we become the God...

Cameron also stole from Dune for Avatar since Dune is one of his inspirations. He replaced the desert with the jungle and has similar ideas of a white man going to a unique planet then ends up being lost in the wild then falls in love with an alien chick, goes through tests of manhood including riding beasts and becoming one of the people and fighting against a greedy corporation that exploits a substance.

You should do an Avatar-Dune parody trailer featuring clips from this movie set to Avatar's trailer audio since both movies are similar and Dune is one of the things Cameron took from. That would be funny or cool to see a mash-up trailer.
