Fertility rates are increasing due to the immigration dummies! I don't need numbers to convince me immigration is getting out of hand. I'm no racist, but it troubles me when over half of my sons class is non white.

Europe seems to heading in the opposite direction, especially France. Recognizing an identity other than "French" is not just frowned on, it's illegal. I would agree that there are inequalities between various groups in the U.S. Many of those are structural and will take time to work through much as it will take time for Blacks in S. Africa to rise to the same level as whites. For once, I (as Michelle Obama said), I am proud of my country. As for Europe, pull your head out of the sand.

Latinos, per Caldwell, simply speak another European language and bring with them a culture "that is like the American working-class white culture of 40 years ago. It is perfectly intelligible to any American who has ever had a conversation about the past with their parents". I think Americans are more likely to respect multiple identities- e.g. "Irish-Catholic-American". The odd thing is that when cultural identity becomes more of a non issue, assimilation becomes much easier. (cont)

I was told that if they submit a job application, the moment a name like Ahmed is noted, the app. is discarded. My own country is far from perfect, but as was noted in an article in Le Figaro, Europe has some things to learn from America. The black population of America is around 12.5%, yet we all know who is in the white house. This is simply not possible in Europe. Mass movement of Muslims into Europe are nothing like those connected to mostly Latino migration into the United States. (cont)

I also saw racist posters here and there. I agree with Christopher Caldwell, rare for me, a diehard liberal and he a conservative scholar in his latest book, Reflections on the Revolution in Europe...even if we assume primarily Muslim immigrants will never count more than 10% of the population, the question is how is Europe going to deal with them? So far, the record is not good. I speak French reasonably well and have spoken to Muslim immigrants who describe something like apartheid. (cont)

What I saw in Paris shocked me. I visited St. Denis, on the edge of the notorious 'banlieus' of Paris. From St. Denis, to Roissy, I saw nothing but the most horrific slums I have ever seen, yes, even in America. In St. Denis, I saw very few people who weren't immigrants, or children of immigrants. In the city itself, I noted a great deal of anxiety, just under the surface. Even in Washington D.C., my home, we don't see soldiers with machine guns. It was routine in Paris.(cont)

I'm American, and just returned from Paris, a city I have visited many times before. I think this "response" is avoiding the real issues. Nobody knows how demographic issues will play out, but if someone like Angela Merkel says multiculturalism has been a failure then the issue is obviously significant and real. The questions avoided might include "what is the signicance of a France with a 10% Muslim (or simply immigrant), population?". What are the implications for the future? (cont)

You have to ask - why does the BBC get involved and respond to a youtube video???
BBC(M) = British Broadcasting Cultural Marxists!

Bullshit video this is propaganda coming from Jewish controlled media like BBC dont believe the crap.
So European fertility rates are rising, but still well below the 2.11 needed to sustain a population and culture - BBC = epic fail at defending high muslim birthrate.
