  • whats co-washing ?

dont think I ever did it

  • (onyxxx101) Conditioner only washing

  • Can you please tell me if olive oil moisturizer is good for your hair. I want to find an alternative to lusters pink lotion which I have been using forever in my hair.

  • (fabien82) I can't really say if it is good or not since I have never tried it....but definetly take a look at product reviews on youtube to get some ideas...

  • Hello RusticBeauty first off i want to thank you for all of your videos they have been such a inspiration for my journey. I guess i am just having a hard time trying to find a protective style for me. I mainly wash my hair once a week and twist my hair like you do & just let it go free. I also just wrap my hair in Bantu knots & release them for the curl. But i don't really do much else with my hair. My hair is about medium length & pretty coarse! Do you have any ideas or advice? THANKS!

  • (MsRedChick84)Well, I would suggest satin head wraps (all types of colors and designs are available, or satin lined hats.) I don't really know of too many hair- styles...there probably are many. But I think since it is winter covering your hair up now would be just as effective.

  • why are you not youtube partner???

  • remember oil is not a moisturizer. the hair is still dry even after shea butter. A moisturizer is a product with water as the first ingredient

  • Whats a good natural hair product that does is a good moisturizer and does not contain protein

  • I aslo tried to tell this lady whose name is utubehaircare that purefied water moisturizes as well and not hardwater, but she claims water doesnot moisturizes hair at all and that so many girls are misinformed! I mean come on water is what you need to use the leave in conditioner! But she uses BB oil moisturizer in which got mineral oil in it, so she thinks thats how you suppose to mositurized your hair! I mean some people huh lol!

  • You are right I uses leave in conditioner and my hair has been less tangled ever since, shampoos is very drying, my hair cannot take it! My hair is bra strap length! So I uses deep conditioner which I make, which is olive oil and rosemary let that sit over night and wash it out with the leave in conditioner and my hair is so soft an hardly any hair coming out!

  • yeah you might already know this.. but shea butter isnt a moisterizer.. its an emoliant that makes hair FEEL soft but it wont really moisterize ur hair.. it just locks it in..

  • Im glad I watched this. I found that my hair likes cooperates better when I wet it in the morning and before bed. And then say like the next night my hair feels like I dont need to wet it, I can just braid do a braidout for the next day. It does so totally depend on the climate and what you use. All I know is that I go by how my hair feels and what I feel it beeds at that given point and time. Thanks for you r videos :-)

  • you rock

  • Hey Sis, what do you suggest for extremely dry hair. I'm using your LIC but my hair sucks it up and then its dry again. HELP. I watered down my hair first, not soaked it, then put in the LIC as a sealant. Did I do it right. My hair is so dry, a lot of people are saying the vegetagle glycerin mix really helps. I need help with my dry hair, about every 4 hours I have to wet it again. What do you think is wrong with my hair. Please help, thanks. I have 4b hair, no dye

  • @Lovallee08 I felt the same way when I first went natura my hair is very coarse. However, dont underestimate what your hair is capable of just take good care of it and keep it moisturized and most of all look for styles on youtube and try to make them your own and be patient. Dont get discouraged its trial and error it'll be great girl!!!

  • :( I'm trying to go natural and all these videos are of women who have a mixed background. I have really coarse hair, and I so want to go natural but all these styles my hair will not keep

  • This helps me so...... much. I have to work on condition more frequently and put more product more often. I think I'll document my progress.
