look at the facts it was a pefectly legal delivery and no rules were boken why was everybody so against someone just playing to the rules of the game why have rules then if your condemmed for sticking to them i wasn't even born when this happend but i can see he did nothing wrong bowling the way he did richie benaud's an idiot anyway don't listen to what he says make your own minds up is playing to ules wrong if it is then play without rules which is almost impossible

old man benaud's wrong again as usual it was not the most disgraceful thing on a cricket field cos how can someone just playing to the rules and doing nothing thats against the rules be disgraceful thats like saying someone who hit's a 4 is disgraceful cos if doing one thing thats allowed is disgraceful why shouldn't something else thats also allowed be disgaceful

@andrewhebron Probably the same as he felt almost immediately afterwards.... that he'd made a complete arse of himself in the eyes of the cricket world & been responsible for overseeing one of the most shameful moments in australian sport. Sadly, in the despotic, match fixing cricket world these days, this incident would probably not get nearly as much attention it got at the time as it just isn't the same game anymore.

I've been listening to the 12th Man for the past three months and now whenever I see Richie I excpect him to start swearing, but alas to no avail. Great commentary that, marvellous effort.
