Nope it isn't I'm afraid. In a way I like that, too many games are focussed on multiplayer nowadays in my opinion.

and i am at the part where you can make a deal with the demon possesing connor, i chose to learn blood magic and for some reason it has not appeard.. any ideas as to why?

Hmm I chose that route too and if you're still standing in the room with his mother and father you might have to talk to one of them to confirm it. Or maybe it's the mage you talk to. I remember it coming about through conversation anyway.
