  • People are always amazed by how brilliant Fischer was at the board, but look at the depth of analysis he gave! This was before you could plug a PGN into Fritz and get candidate moves or blunder check. He figured out all these tiny details by himself, and it's why he almost always had a winning position in the middle game.

  • Instead of playing knight to e5 he should have never played against Bobby Fischer.
