it's not porn, but it is a strong PG-13 if not R rating. Simulated sex is pretty common I hear in European opera houses. Unlike the stuffy, censored American versions. Americans are hung up on sex, they love it. They hate it, I think they need to get over the hang up and look at other more serious issues in the country, like gun violence. Opera is art. even if they were having real sex here, it would still be art, not porn. Just my 2c..

There's a slight difference between pornographic images and naturalistic ways of describing a scene on stage. Take the music for some inside view of Donna Anna wishing to live a better lifer and there we are. Wonder where you saw porn on this stage.

okay I can see that some people like porno on opera stage, I cannot find some beauty in it. To me it takes only the attention away from the great music....porno is better to see in other places and then no music disturbs you...

@AninaToskani Well, if we'd be stuck with what we THINK was Mozart's intention, where would it lead us? Everything you see on a stage is an interpretation of the dramatic text we're offered. Nobody knows whether this interpretation is correct or not. But there's one thing I know for sure: This interpretation makes perfect sense to me AND employs the music as a means to express the artistic idea. I mean...whoah, gimme a break, but the coloratura...! :D

Tasteless Opera style, shameless scene with beautiful Mozart Music and a beautiful great voice of a beautiful Lady. The men who ask a Diva to play Donna Anna prostituting herself don't understand the music and the story.... there is other ways to see sex and crime instead on Opera Stage...
