He is going to be the English national teams left back in about 3 years time just watch. He is very promising, attacking and defending i think he'll be better then Clichy soon and become even as good as Cole, he will be one of the best LB in the world soon.

Sometimes Wenger plays players out of position to improve their weak areas. He's got Walcott out wide learning how to take the ball past people in one-on-one situations, as with Vela on occasions. He's also doing something similar with Gibbs, he's done it to other young wingers. Gibbs is being played as a left back to learn the defensive duties of a flank player. His natural position is as a winger either side, or behind the striker. Troaré and Botelho are next inline to Clichy, not Gibbs.
