International Day for Eradictaion of Extreme Poverty ; 17 October 2010: Event in Thailand

For the 17th of October this year, the Friends of ATD Foundation and the International Movement ATD Fourth World will join hands to organize a public event in the Railway Park on Sunday 17 October, starting from 9 to 12.00 a.m.

ในวันที่ 17 ตุลาคม ปีนี้ มูลนิธิเอทีดี เพื่อนผู้ยากไร้ และ องค์การนานาชาติ เอทีดี โลกที่สี่ จะร่วมมือ กันจัดงานสำหรับสาธารณชน ที่สวนรถไฟ ในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 17 ตุลาคม เริ่มตั้งแต่ 9 ถึง 12 นาฬิกา

Ratchakorn: In the writing workshop we will invite people to share what they do to contribute in the fight against poverty in their daily life or what are their ideas: how can we, together, fight to overcome extreme poverty.

Caroline: Ha…sounds so exciting The children from Srisaket will also bring with them the exhibition of paintings that they did with the children in their community We will exihibit it in the park.

Ratchakorn: There will be brochure of the UNMC and T-shirts that can be given to participants who join the walk rally.

Caroline: What kinds of material?

Ratchakorn: Actually this year we also get support from the Stand up campaign of the UN Millennium Campaign. They will also send some materials to join us on the day.

Caroline: This is the public events the year so we Of course we invite people from the community that we are committed with, we invited all our supporters, and friends, and we also count on the participation of the people that are in the park on Sunday morning.
