Starlight (by Jack Conte)

This is a cover of a song by Jack Conte called "Starlight", done in his videosong style. There are a number of technical aspects of this video that I wish were better (I ran all of the audio straight into a Canon GL2 and edited it all in Adobe Premiere, which leaves something to be desired on the audio end). It's kind of funny and sad...I am left handed but play guitar right handed, although I can't hack it when picking fast so I had to flip the guitar around for the solo and pick with my much quicker left hand. Ridiculous, I know.

Get a condenser mic dude. Even just like an MXL (I have an MXL 2006 that works great) or something around the $100 range would probably be a big improvement over a dynamic mic. Good job otherwise, especially on the singing!

Just wanted to say that your 'Working for the Weekend' video is utterly brilliant, man! I love it!  Unfortunately it's "not available in my country" on YouTube, due to copyright BS, so I was re-directed here. And this certainly isn't half bad, either. You've got all sorts of talent - keep it up! ;-)
