(2005) After detouring down a closed road and picking up a hitch-hiker, 6 friends are led to a house of sadists where killing is only the beginning...

Yet another short horror film shot up in Long Lake, Wisconsin. Over the past 3 years, my cabin friends and I have shot a horror film every summer. They are shot quickly and crudely as an exploitation film. The following movie which you are about to see was shot in 4 hours. This is our fifth film that we shot summer of 2005. We put these films under the name Rockford Road Pictures as a seperate entity from Random Creatureface Films. They are meant to be fun homages to the horror classics we love. Enjoy. (Rated R for Strong Indiscriminate Violence, Language, Elements Of Cannibalism, and Psychological Nudity) viewer discretion is advised... Don't ya just love rating reasons?

  • Is that a real gun your firing?

  • No sadly. It is an airsoft pistol. I painted in all the gun effects in photoshop. When you only have five hours to shoot and no blanks, well, it's the best route. I do have some other vids with real guns being used. Check out "The G.I." or "Kill Your Killer" or "The 26th" for that matter. In Kill Your Killer I used a WWII nazi Luger. Didn't really fire it because I didn't have blanks, but The G.I. and The 26th both use real guns and both use blanks! Thanks for the response!

  • How the heck do you guys make movies like this in such little time? 4 hours?? Overall, this film is dark, sadistic, violent, and leaves a chill up your spine at times. Something a great horror film should have, and you my friend have made another great horror short. This is almost as good if not better as Kill Your Killer. Its a close call.

  • Making a film in 4 hours...sometimes I wonder how we do it. To be honest with you, especially with The Grindhouse, the movie was made in editing. After watching the dailies, we all had thought that we failed to be honest. I guess its all about being quick and confident! Thanks for the response!!!

  • This was stupid as shit! U had such a good set-up and a good idea but you killed everyone with a gun! The idea behind the grind house movies is shockly grusome deaths, not gun shots. Why didnt the kid with the axe ever use it?!?

  • What can I say, I like guns. At least to me, gun deaths seem more brutal and startling than a poorly done decaptitation. Your right though about true grindhouse films. Thanks for watching

  • The teenage pot roast plate and the end credits were a really good grindhouse exploitation. Very well done!

  • that was really good! keep up the good work

  • We should combine our efforts, I bet we can make a superb full length feature...seriously though.

  • That was really good!

  • more sadism in homicides would be great

  • Freebird!

  • Most impressive. I have that same sinking feeling when I watch the dailies. I loved the cinematography. I'm guessing you used actual film, because it'd be hard to achieve that look with DV. Did you use an actual prop gun, or put the muzzle flash in afterward? Whatever it was, it was done realistically. Did you use any lighting? I loved how their eyes were always covered in shadows. Keep up the great work!

  • i agree you should enter this into a film festival
