  • I cannot tell you how many years I have been searching for this exact recording..... and YOU HAVE IT!!!!!!!

  • BeachguyNL, It's one of my favorites even if it is sort of beat! Thansk for watching and the best of luck in your search for a copy!

    Regards, J.

  • I presume that's Ramona accompanying herself on the piano? She was quite an accomplished pianist.

  • Hookedon78s, I don't know, but I'll ask around. Thanks for watching.

    Regards, J.

  • Such a beautiful recording, the best version of "Anything Goes" I've ever heard. And not only because I'd rather see Ramona "undressed" than the old Cole Porter ;)

  • WalecznyChasyd, Ha Ha Ha Ha! Love it! Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!

    Regards, J.

  • I love it!

  • @PaulGiffs what do expect a million dollars for some old records nobody cares about? should've taken the money you fool.

  • What a charming video! The sound of winding the Victrola. I immediately knew that sound. A charming set up with the candle flickering. Very tasteful and very well done! Loved it. Great sound quality. Very well done. You win the award on the Victrola videos. KUDOS!

  • @BeachguyNL Archive.org has a copy of it in their music collection.

  • love the victrola love this recording of one of the best cole porter songs made

  • @hookedon78s ; Yup...that's her on piano...darn good she was too.

  • I love their version of this song. Thanks for posting!

  • My father left me his collection of 7,236 78's and 45's and LPs. Most were unopened. He always bought several, and tucked em away for his grand kids' college funds. He said there was no better investment than pure talent, multiplied by great engineering and then kept from the gullible new fans 60 or 70 years later. One recent bid from Christie's was over $2,925,000 for about half of the lot. Idiot estimators. I'll wait another 30 or 40 years.

  • reaaly good qualoty for a 80 yaer old record.

  • This is the best version, in my opinion.

If you need it on CD look for ' These Were Our Songs the Late '30's From Readers Digest collections. Fantastic 4 CD collection got it on Amazon.com
