Jackie Chan bounces down a cliff in a Zorb* Ball. From the introduction to Armour of God II: Operation Condor.

*well not a Zorb(tm), but same thing.

i dunno if it's real of not, but i recon you could probably do it somehow. Send your ideas.

the other person in the russian incident survived the zorb drop. the other one died. so the debate is still on.

there were, but straps were ripped. This zorb is old and many times used. Some Russians said that this zorbs were stolen from him company in Karachay-Cherkessia with other equipment. He wanted to make some attraction with all safety regulations in Dombay but some guys decided to take away his property, just because thats more easier. Police just said to him go away to Moscow if he want to live. Sounds crazy to all of you, but nowadays Russia :(

It should be noted that - like in the "1000 ways to die" story - there was TWO people in the zorb in this fatal Zorbing incident as well. 2 ppl makes it a little different to the zorb-parachute idea i proposed in the video annotations.

The end of the video (linked) was quite interesting, the impact with the ridge at 1:52, it causes quite a wobble through the zorb.
