@Tacoking84 well in the stte i live in and the high school also im in won the trophy for 1st and im a cadet about to join raiders and also we won the state championship as well so where equal what rank are you by any chance
Best thing to do before joining raiders is being physical fit. Do different types of push-ups: Diamond, Wide-Arm, Close Arm (to work different types of muscle). Pracitc w/ the push-up going into rest positions and correctness (not speed). Also a kicker is sit-ups. Note, in competition you won't be 100% when performing sit-ups, so practice doing as many as you can (correctly) after doing push-ups. Running is all about endurance. Run further than just 2 miles, work on 3, 4, even 5 miles.

Any JROTC (whether it may be Army, Navy, Airforce, etc.) can do this. If you are looking at starting a raider team for your JROTC, I can provide additional information.

Good luck. Raiders is a lot of fun and I hope everyone here who watches this video gets inspired to go out and try this awesome activity. Doesn't matter what team or what school, Raiders is a hell of an adventure. This is my third year doing it and I learn so much every year and the bond you make with your team is ever lasting.
Raiders BRING ON THE PAIN! Hooah!

Well we have ACU's now, check out the over video of "RAIDERS BRING ON THE PAIN", and you'll see it. Every competition starts off with an Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) (Well thats if you have an AJROTC). It consists of push-ups, sit-ups and 2 mile run. Its the first thing at o'dark 30. If your struggly on push-ups or anything for that matter, practice doing them. You don't need to go to the gym. The best way to get better at something is to practice at that THING. Not go lift random weights.

Hmm. Haven't heard of Paulding County. But thats probably since you guys are in Georgia. lol. Our Raider Team is in Kansas.
And I'm pretty sure you didn't "one it" lol. And good luck on the running too, b/c I do xc and track. lol. Unless you can beat 10:55 ish, than your behind me bub. =)
But its all good.
My salute to you Cadet SGT MAJ White.
