This is early 90's exciting footage of Freestyle Fellowship/DJ Kiilu & Ganja K ripping it on a certain tv rapshow of the city when rap shows were good in the early 90's. Now mass television/radio just sucks and hip-hop has been corrupted with wack/flimsy looking/fashion hungry trend hopping/weak energy MCs who can't rock the mic like legendary men. You have to dig thru the underground to find the gems by real/passionate artists. As a fan & consumer I miss seeing this energy and the transitions between the MCs in this clip is amazing, how real Men/Women need to rock the mic! I use to go to the Goodlife as well and I am so glad I got to witness a part of this history of the LA Underground, Heavyweights, Freestyle Fellowship as well as the Goodlife & the talented female/male artists it drew in. Sorry for the distortion at the end this was during the VHS era, this is definitely a treasure to be appreciated for any musician/artist or true hip-hop fan!! This definitely will go in the history books and still be heard thousands of years from now. www.grandsensory.com

  • Real talk. Doesn't this just make u want 2 hurl when u see these so-called hip hop artists performing live and "supposedly" representing us?

  • The first one is a Hip Hop standard--James Brown's 'Funky Drummer' break.

And i'm presuming that the other one is an old Fellowship track.

  • these beats are the best, any one know what beats they are?
