hey mate, kh is really annoying me, everything in my tank is stable apart fro this. My magnesium is 1500 and calcium with water changes fluctuates from 430 - 400 , however my KH will drop from 9 to 6 over a few weeks.Whats going wrong then as you described that if your mag is high it will stabalize your calcium and KH, where mine is clearly dropping, until i have to buffer it again. I also read coralline algae and certain types of bacteria cause your KH to drop. Can u give me help please, thanks
I've been looking for ages for good, easy to understand information on this chemistry and this has made it so much clearer from what i've been reading. Excellent Job BRS keep up the good work!
There are a lot of incomplete information about alkalinity but its ok. There is no epic fail. Good for people who don't have any idea about chemistry. Nice jobs. :)
