Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of available battery technology would within 3 minutes realize that this unit could not be running on battery's, the fan size, the audible acoustic cavitation and the attainment of speed within a half second and its rock solid holding of speed is something a battery could not do unless it was a car battery, and then we would see a drop over time. Looks real to me, dont care what leaualorin and devnullnor think.

The fuel is inside the magnets, they usually only last around 300 to 500 years.

Since Magnets can only sustain themselves and nothing more this is sort of a trick with the fan, Over time the fan is slowing down second by second but since the rate of speed is so high it just takes awhile, the resistance from the air is enough to stop it in the end. It would of been a lot better to have powered something with it, but even that is tricky since this would of gave off a vary unstable current as all magnet gens do.

Unless e=mc² is wrong, creating an infinite amount of energy means we destroy mass somewhere. Thus matter is the fuel...

@inflate98 Actually, it's not even that elaborate. In fact quite cheesy. The idea that power companies would want to somehow "hide" this "invention" is ludicrous on its face.

So clearly a fraud. Why not have this device attached to a generator, so we could see what it actually produces, instead of turning a simple fan? This is nothing more than an elaborate parlor trick.

@clint3142 But, sure, it is an interesting demonstration. If there is only permanent magnets in the assembly, it realy rises the question: where the energie is comming from?

I am not telling that there is a battery inside the motor! But if you see, although the speed is very high, the potence is not so high as the speed. It was estimated to be about 10W only (see that there is not so intense wind in his shirt). Motors without eletric stators but with permanent magnets consume much less power than its old cousins; and today we have de NiCd batteries, and so on. So, it is perfectly possible to have a baterie hidden in the 5 compartments not unassembled.
