How NOT to Kitesurf!!!

This video clearly shows how NOT to kite!
This is one of the things that might happen if you didn't get instructions of experienced kiters and instructors.
It's clear that the kiter in this video was very lucky.
I found this video while visiting some kite forums and think it diserves quite some attention. This to avoid others from beiing hurt in the future.

A dude got killed a few days ago in a kiting accident, similar to this, he got lofted and thrown to the ground, in front of his wife. go for the lessons, there is a good reason why a kiter can jump two stories high off flat water.

The guy was obviously not experienced but I will argue that he was probably good enough to kite on his own. He did not handle well what happened to him but he did not cause it. That was a gust guys. A bad one. I have been kiting for 13 years and I know one when I see it. Obviously no everybody does.

ALWAYS let go in such a situation. If he let go of his bar, the kite would have crashed in seconds. Never pull your bar, it only gives the kite more power to kill you
