how can you say the springfield was less accurate than the kar98k? there are recorded events of us marines shooting the germans at 800-900 yards open sights in ww1. if i remember correctly it was at belleau wood.

@Shellshock1918 yes only the edge is red in color not the complete back of the primer only a thin circle!
the numbers say 73 and 22 also mines didnt came on stripper clips but just 20 a carton box in the can!
also i sa picture on the internet of complete red primers but mine''s only have the red around the edge in circle! are these good? the have abosolutely no rust they look new!

@MrCvjetko Are the primers red color? The head stamp should have two numbers, the bottom number is the year of production. Also the casings will be in green in color.

@Shellshock1918 hey i just bought a box with 2 green cans wit the same ammo i think it had also a can opener! i from holland i payd 190 euro for 760 bullets! is this ammo good for shooting my k98k? 1940?
Please get back to me i cant find any info from this ammo!! havent shot it jeT!

Ive tested my k98k today on the range! at 50 meters but what ive notised is that the shots are commin verry high on the target! is this normal with this ammo? i couldnd get it to group verry nice but maby its because i have to get used to the sights! the bore is verry clean sharp an shiny@ so that is no problem!

The guns are sighted in at 100-200 meters. If aiming at a range closer than that, aim low young grasshoppa!

@Shellshock1918 ok thnkx for the info and the bullets do they have steel heads? and are they harmful for you barrel since you the only 1 on youtube shooting it!!!

I'm not sure if they are steel core or not. They are steel cased.
