Sonic The Hedgehog 2 zones in 3D

This is the result of many hours of persistance during my spare time over the last fortnight. As I played through the original Sonic 2 on a genesis emulator, I snapped screenshots along the way, and recreated the levels in 3D - using textures from the game. Imagine if the Sonic Team made something along these lines!

*Regarding Ripping off BlobVanDam: A few of you have made comments insinuating that I've made a ripoff of his video. I checked him out, his stuff is awesome! But no, I'd never seen his work, this is my own style - I take screenshots - and bring them to life. See my other work. It's very different.

Please SEGA, see these 3D renders that everyone's making, and know that this is what all the gamers want out of a new Sonic game. To restore an initially awesome franchise that has been killed by so much recent fodder.

Bring Sonic back to old school gameplay, but with new high-def graphics and rendered 3D like Little Big Planet, all running at blazing speed...
