Das letzte war eine Super-U-Boot was 11 Tage tauchen konnte und durch Radar nicht ortbar war ,1944 ,keines dieser Boote wurde je erkannt noch versenkt !Bis heute bleibt es ein Geheimnis Deutscher Konstrukteure !

@MegaThrowaway Mega, the GDR (East Germany) was forbidden to possess a submarine fleet by the Soviets, as opposed to the FRG (West Germany), which, starting with the lone Type XXI boat, the Wilhelm Bauer, was permitted to embark on a sub-building program. All boats, beginning in the 1950s with the Type 201s to the Type205/206s and finally the Type 209s (mostly export versions) were part of this program. They were mostly coastal boats...but GDR??? Forget it!!

I am from America and would really love to watch this film, does anybody know where I can buy a copy of this? Download a copy? Or just watch it online? please let me know. Preferably with English or French subtitles, as I don't speak German.

Ich hab' ihn von Emule eben gesaugt ;) Es gibt viele Quellen dafur, also sollte der Esel ihn an einem oder zwei Tage saugen ;) Die datei weigt etwa 1.35GB ... Viel Spass!

Found her! It was the ORP Dzik("Wild Boar")of the Polish Navy, a Foxtrot-class submarine, fully operational at the time of filming; Sadly, she was cut for scrap in 2005 :( ...
As an interesting sidenote-The Foxtrots and German Type-XBs were almost identical in size and tonnage; Foxtrot was a dedicated attack-submarine however, while the XB was an "uderwater merchant"...

Pretty nice movie... I saw it on the TV quite a time ago; Any1 knows what type of sub is REALLY shown in the movie? I think it's a real post-war submarine, and looks like it's still running; Appears more like a TYPE XXI than the XB... IDK... perhaps an ex-GDR Whiskey or Zulu class?
