On the 5193 after its display at Gateway Plaza for "Take your Sons & Daughters to work day" the 5193 was moved back to its storage at the Central Maintenance Facility. The 5193 is the one and only bus Metro has kept for historic purposes.
Built in 1958 as GM TDH 4801 #500 the 5193 ran for LAMTA and SCRTD until retirement in 1981, through a series of events came back in 1988 and was restored.
Thanks to Larry and Steve for making it all happen just right!
