Danica is at best an average driver. She has won 1 race in 114 with 0 IRL Championships. The 1 race she won was not due to driver skill but rather the other drivers ran out or needed fuel. Tony Stewart raced 26 races and won 3 and an IRL Championship. Danica is an average driver with a pretty face. If she were a male driver she would have been fired years ago.

I saw her drive in Formula Atlantic not too long after this, I think she finished 3rd. That was not bad, the level of competition was fierce, it was at Road America in Elkhart Lake WI, and the race was almost perfect for all the drivers, a joy to watch on such a beautiful track. To me, Formula Atlantic is the way racing should be done, standing start, no planned pit stops, just drop the pedal and drive. :-)
