Besides... judging from your logic, you shouldn't believe the opposite side either. I'm not saying you do, I'm just saying that in the end you WILL believe "this" or the "other" like it or not. Want a proof? What do you think your above comment is?

At the end of the video you express value of historical evidence over people's opinions, but "historical evidence" is just another label for the opinions of people who lived in the past. The writers you mentioned were all born after Jesus' death. They didn't know the man. That's not convincing evidence. I was born in 1976. Would you accept my fantastical writings about someone who died in the 60's as gospel truth?

If the biblical account of the flood is true, then there would be no records of it from the nations that resulted from it's survivors, as there were only eight survivors. On the other hand, floods occur all over the earth, now and long ago. OF COURSE there would be many, many records of great floods.
