Wow you are pretty brave to go their ! Creeepy when you touched the wall with the bloody hand prints . Sad to hear that poor family had to be killed that way . This house should be burnt .

I do not live there(I live about 3 hours away)..but I have relatives that live there...my Dad's family came there in the late 1800's. I visit there at least once a year with my wife. I have taken pictures of Looker's house for over 17 years...the roadway up to Lookers driveway has a few more cottages on it since you have visited last I posted a short video(about a minute) of Looker's on a club site on Facebook called 'Manitoulin Lovers. I will probably go there again this Fall.

It is sad the way it looks now..I took about 40 pictures of the interior in Oct 2007..I did not think too many people knew about the house, and was amused to see someone else had discovered it...my dad used to live around ther ein the 1950's, and said it used to be cool to walk around it then(He thinks it has been abondoned since the late 40's

I can tell this obviously done more than 10 years ago..I have visited this house often, and when I last visited in Oct 2007, it did not look like this anymore. You cannot walk around like this fellow, and the back part where he was standing upstairs has collapsed. It is a house referred to as Lookers house. Although the house is on a lane called 'Lucars Lane', the family spelling can be found in the cemetary near here..it was spelled Lookers.
