@TheFUNNYFLOWERS I'm not going to pretend I can tell people how to play trad grip, but I am a completely matched player with sticks and was taught that way with brushes too, but I play brushes trad. For me it just s seems to allow more textures an easier movement around the snare with brushes and I get a more comfortable position for the majority of the time I am playing sweeps compared to matched.
