a lower unit can blow out, but that doesn't mean it can't go fast. some boats don't handle good with nose cones and are actually faster with stock lowers. It all depends on how the prop bites.

What boat? No way that thing is running 96 the way it sits in this video. Motor is to low due to the Lower not having Cone, Motor looks totally stock, still has air box on for one thing. Not to mention this is a 2.4, would need some serious port work to make power. If this was a 2.5 MAYBE. What else you got, show us some running videos.

I should have a few videos up by Oct 15th with gps footage of 96+. At one time this engine was a stock 200 2.4 but has been beefed up since the origional video along with the installation of a bobs cle, infact the video that was origionally posted was the very day the engine was hung still under stock specs.
