Gregory's Sick Part 10--Frankie Prays; Cass Isn't Doing Well

At the hospital, Frankie prays for Gregory. John tells her all the nurses are amazed at what a tough little guy Gregory is. But Jamie has bad news: Gregory's getting worse and needs the serum. John says Gregory can beat this even without the serum. Jamie says that the plane went down hours ago and the serum might be on its way to the hospital by car by now. Frankie agrees, saying they can't give up. John says he's not giving up. Jamie asks Frankie to let him have a word privately with John. After she leaves, John tells Jamie he hopes this isn't one of those man-to-man, "let's face the facts" talks. Jamie says no, not at all, but he asked Frankie to leave because there's something she doesn't know yet and he doesn't think this is the right time to tell her. Jamie explains to John that Cass commandeered a Jeep and went after the serum, and he picked it up from the airport but there hasn't been a word from him since, and that was several hours ago. What's more, Gregory needs the serum by midnight for it to have any effect. John looks at the clock--it's 10:31 PM. John says Cass will make it, he has to. Meanwhile, the old man who hit Cass with his car goes through Cass's wallet and finds out who he is, and the old man's wife reports that Cass, who is in another room in their house, isn't doing too well.
