  • I like the set up, it's very good. Though, to comment on mistaken ID, of course, no one will take that to be a Police nor EMS vehicle within eyeshot, say, across the street, but on the freeway, several car lenghts away, and in the dark, with the lights flashing in full bloom, one may do in thinking it is. So, running the "ghost siren" could help deterr any mistaken ID. Also, Chev Caprices built in the 90's are branded as Police vehicles, so again, know when to run it or not is the best option..

  • I really don't think they'd have a problem with the lights because of the car...I don't think people will see it and go "Oh, damnit I ran that stop sign there this ghostbuster car must be pulling me over"

  • i run blue lights on my car ( pa volunteer fire police officer) and ive driven thru 3 or 4 states, i guess as long as you dont play with the lights when you're on the road- they dont care

  • This ECTO-1's ready to go... B) *Whirr*

  • how did u guys get the firehouse set up

  • do you guys have to much time on your hand to do that. generallee011.

  • lol I love how the cops get all niggly about having lights on it. What kind of dumbass do you have to be to mistake that thing for a police car?

  • I don't think it matters if you have lights that color here in NY as long as you don't use them for unlawful purposes such as impersonating an officer.

  • did i spy a new york state plate on that car?

how do they feel about those lights?

  • Yes, please tell us what you did to get a permit for the lights? I know it varies by state.
