WHAT? 5 dislikes? those guys are deaf for sure!!!!

kudos to the trumpeteers. beautifly played

@kareljuwet Well they might learn it by heart, but any sudden mistake (and God knows mistakes happen sometimes at the worst times) could throw off the other soloist. Normally, it wouldn't be such a problem. However, with this song, which is essentially one giant technical warm up, it would because of the technical and tempo demands of the piece. Plus, because the piece is so similar throughout, some sections could be confused with others.

most solists learn their part by heart...
why couldn't they?
-
@kareljuwet Well, sheet music is kind of important in such a technical piece. Any slight beat off could throw off the entire ensemble. If one trumpeter messes up the other, the entire solo is thrown off.

Terrific playing - intonation, articulation, balance as a duet all exceptional. Bravo!
-
they play good but their tone could have been better if they stood up straight instead of reading off their parts...

Great playing blokes, sounds very English.....! Regards from Spain, John Aigi Hurn-OSG
