@V8Lenny Dont think all American are assholes like "wstarcummins" (not that there arent a bunch, lol).
Im an American and love our trucks, but I love European diesel trucks too! I love the sound of a Scania V8!!
I just love diesel engines and their engineering, technologies, and science!! Brand and nationality doesnt mean much to me.
Great pull!!

Goddamn americans! , the "diesel engine" is a european (read german) invention!!. Without Rudolf Diesel (google him) you´d probably drive around overheating, gas guzzling flatheads still today! Pay some respect!!

LOL, you're all so funny. A number of years ago, some guys that run a REPAIR SHOP in the US found out that Europeans race semi trucks. So they built one, shipped it to europe, and promptly whipped EVERY factory sponsored race truck over there. A couple years later, the european manufacturers had finally caught up with old Cummins powered truck these guys were racing... so they tweaked the old Cummins a little and whipped 'em again. Don't go bragging about European trucks...

@65crewcabpw I've been following european truck racing from the beginning and never heard about that. So it's BS. Detroit powered Volvos won some races and european tuned Cummins engines in european trucks took a couple of championships. Don't believe what Bruce tells you...

@V8Lenny LOL, no it's not. Of course you didn't "hear about it". You think your manufacturers are going to trumpet long and loud that a non-sponsored amateur effort by a truck shop from the US could outrun them?
Besides, it was something like 13 or 14 years ago, when they started, and only did it for 3 or 4 years. You think a repair shop can actually sustain paying for a semi racing team in Europe long term? Seriously, though, if Americans wanted to get into it, they WOULD WIN.

@65crewcabpw Pittsburgh Power only sold parts to one team and NO, they didn't win any race.

@V8Lenny BTW, the Cummins "K" series engine is very old, started something like 25 or 30 years ago, and it started at 600 horsepower and could easily top 1000 hp in a truck... In the 80's. It isn't even in production anymore, as it's an antique here now. I'd not be bragging about trucks with a 1000 hp, we did that over here several decades ago.

@65crewcabpw we have 1200 hp L series Cummins, no american can build it, sorry.
