Ironically seph I started doing bodybuilding like I did 15-20 years ago & guess what? I did 140 x 3 with this weight in good form & all my other curls are improving too---so yes I agree it works!

I'm going to give some beneficial advice. I'm 16, i've bodybuilded with my dad when I was around 8, I quit until recently. In this video right here, you pretty much rock the weight, using your back to buffer the weight. This could lead to future back injuries, or you might just throw it out. I suggest keeping a very straight back, relaxed, then you lift the weight, continue that pose. Lift the weight, you'll notice that even if it's a lot of weight, your body still won't rock like you did.

You give me the motivation i'm 56 and still pumping iron though slowing down some.
good job man atleast u have guts to go to gym and lift those heavy weights and show the world that age doesn't really matters.

@gohilharshit thanx~so nice of you to say~this was in my basement gym~where I still workout~~I'm now 61 & still lifting some pretty heavy poundages for my age *before the work season whittled me down a bit, I was doing near 250 bench easy & cheat curled 161 the eve of my 61st bday

Sorry to say but this man is going to wreck his back by lifting the weight into position with his lower back. The next improper lifting technique I see is "jerking" the weight, that is not lifting,it is cheating and is also dangerous.A true curl is done with the back straight and lifted with the biceps/curled.Any swinging or jerking motion is improper.Granted 145lbs. is a lot of weight but I think this guy should workout doing sets of 5-8 with 110lbs. and work his way up using proper form.

@eldiablo68 ***this was over 1 1/2 years ago & since then I've actually become stronger--doing a standing curl with 160 lbs & seated 150--so no I'm in no danger--i know my body's limitations pretty well after 60 yrs : )
