From :55 to 1:38 are 43 seconds of the best flight sim dogfighting I've ever seen, Polovski. Wonderfully choreographed, and captured.

it is the camera. it looks like there is a spot plane going along with them filming so it gives the illusion that the airplanes are not moving. possibly another explination is wind. a lot of it. these aircraft generally stalled around 20mph so if the wind was equal it would look like they arent moving, or in this case defying gravity.
if you find some actual footage of ww1 dogfights from a spot plane it looks, in some cases, almost identical to that shot in particular.

Hi yes and then some, many of the people who worked on the main mods for RB2/RB3D are working in the OFF team. It has an in depth campaign engine refined over the last few years. Out soooooon :)
