Hey tricky4life,

Just wanted to ask who actually pushes the fire button in an AS-90. Reason I ask is that there's a guy claiming to be in the RHA as a shell loader, and he says he fires the weapon. I think he's B.S.ing me... as far I know Loaders don't usually fire the weapon.

I don't really know myself as Im not in the forces. can you tell me if he'd right or is he lying?

you r right to think he is lying as he is the as90 has 5 crew men in side 1,2,3,4,and 5 5 is the driver 4. is the shell /round loader and gpmg gunner 3, is the layer who works with no 1 to get the rounds to land in the right spot 2. is the other loader that loads the charge and primer and then the No1 who is in charge of the gun and the crew who presses the button to fire the gun. your friend is No4 thanks please rate 5 stars

I was a gun fitter on these, and they are awesome. Fuckin loud! Loved them. I was one of the best in the REME too.

and as people are talking about the crew. there are 5 of them and they are- driver, gun loader, commander, a gun layer for targeting and an operator to coordinate the process, and a second vehicle called a "Limber" come with four more soldiers resposible for preparing ammunition, and a bombbardier who commands the vehicle.

the loader does fire the gun but only on emergency firing when the gun fails to fire there is a handle that he hits

Minimum detachment for a nasty is 1. And the loader for the does fire, when emergency firing, so best to stick to commenting on what you know.

yeah he is bullshtting you, in any vehicle with a gun on it it will always be the the gunner who aquires the target and fires the gun not the loader he loads the gun.

AS90  length 9.9 m, width 3.4m and height 3m

chally length 11.5, width 3.5 and height 2.4

Thing hull lenghts are pretty similar
