If you play through Worlds 1 to 8 without saving and without warping, you'll advance to a rather weird World 9 after defeating Bowser in 8-4.

  • you can play these levels with saving states

  • If you play with an emulator, you can use the emulator's save function, of course. But you will not reach world 9 if you ever use the game's save function.

  • No, it's not.

  • Lol, I liked how you beat Bowser on 9-3. XD

  • I missed playing this game. I never even knew there was a world 9 until now. I've beaten the game, but never saw this. Also, this game was actually the REAL SEQUEL to Super Mario Bros, but they thought that this would have been too hard for Americans.

  • for some reason , when i beat lost levels , the last worlds were a b c d lol

  • @MarcoDiCesar

Lost levels, the original super mario bros 2 in came out before the gameboy color on the famicom system(the japanese nes). The US basically got a sprite hack/text edit of a simular for our version... aparently it was too hard.

Super Mario for Super players and lost levels are just there to hide the fact that this is the real Super Mario bros 2.

  • the -1 world is perfectly normal after seen this world

  • @MarcoDiCesar no it's super Mario 2 that was released in Japan only while America got stuck with the reskin of an old nes game

  • the lost levels is just a revamp of super mario bros for super players on super mario delux i should know because i have both of them

  • the lost levels is just a reamp of super mario bros for super players on super mario delux i should know because i have both of them

  • @forrestgumby Oh thanks :]
