Funny, as a result of getting fed up with a rusty sticking noodle I've been riding about with an unattached rear v-brake for the past week or so, and got told off by another cyclist for it on the way home on Friday. I literally never use the back brake, a habit from years back that stems from a childhood belief that proper technique is you should only use the front. Not sure where I got that from. Anyway, I suppose I should hold my hand up as a silly cyclist and get on and fix it.

Great videos gaz.

I see number 6 all the time. What's really annoying is when they're coming right at you in your lane.

number 10 was filmed in norbury on that long road

The camera mans positioning at 4:00 is making me cringe soo badly I want to scream. We must really talk about blind spots when the man decides to stop in the middle of one, the driver of adl logistics truck is towering high above and bike nestles in by the front wheels with even his head out of view completely, cyclists really do get crushed there. I know you said you spoke to him but geez I still cant bare seeing this.

Wobblers are probably better on routes like that where they can learn some sense of balance. Its possible that if he went down into an easier gear and higher cadence that he might not wobble as much. He's be less likely to throw his weight forward into the pedals and wobble off the bars causing the micro-turns.

Very well done video!
-#9 is a bit of a peeve of mine, fortunately I don't see it that often. Even though I give people credit for at least having a light on, white lights at the rear makes it seem like their coming towards me.
-#6 drives me crazy. It is especially noticeable during the summer when more people are going against traffic.
-#5 I wish people would realize how dangerous it can be to go through a red, whether your cycling, driving or walking.

I preffer riding on one wheel :P
silly cyclist no1 probably left his brakes open because of the fender or his brakes are rubbing the wheel.

@sfasto1 Having two working brakes is very important, it there are issues with them, then it is best to fix them before continuing your journey.

Nothing wrong with wobblers mate. They help to make cycling safer for all of us because they put proper fear into car drivers.

@CyclingMikey I agree that wobblers are great. And i even use the technique of wobbling to make drivers aware of me and to make them think i'm not so confident. But i think there is a line between wobbling thats good, and wobbling thats uncontrollable and puts you in danger. Whether this guy was across that line is debatable, i was more using it to point out that if you do have an issue with balance that you think might be a problem, esp when indicating, then practice.

That guy in the no.1 position is a bit of a mystery. From the close up of his brakes he's clearly in SPD shoes and possibly shaved like a laydee which would suggest that he's a experienced rider.....
That RLJer that went whizzing through on the ped crossing with the kids deserves to have a plague of PF visits!!
Thank for the new nickname btw :-)

@SkrzypczykBass *face palm* i got your twitter name slightly wrong :P should have double checked first. There is no where i can say your name!
The guy in number one was a strong rider. he was holding a good 24mph, i saw no need to overtake him.
