I grew up on three pairs of C&O tracks in Russell, Kentucky in the 60's. Trust me--you can hear them!

How is the engineer going to hear that dud? These are used for slowing or stopping a moving train. That thing has TO BE VERY LOUD for Engineer to hear it - not impressed.

This is a nice video response to my Railroad Torpedo. I knew they were louder than the noise they made when I hit them with a hammer. Now tell that guy driving the train to head towards Pittsburgh and Ill put those ones I got left back on the tracks for him. LOL
