#2 Fatti Misteriosi (Mysterious Events) (2:53)

Track 1 is the opening theme of the film that is devided into three sections. Track 2 plays in extreme scenes such as the head-drilling scene. Track 3 first plays after father Thomas has hanged himself.

One year after releasing Zombi 2, Lucio Fulci decided to continue pursuing the success of the zombie genre and teamed up with his trusted crue, composer Fabio Frizzi and cinematographer Sergio Salvati to make Paura nella città dei morti viventi. It also gained recognition from horror fans but a year later he exceeded his own expectations with the success of L'aldilà which would ultimately become his magnum opus.

Music by Fabio Frizzi.

Directed by Lucio Fulci.

  • 1:37 sounds just like Dawn of the deads music...any one else reckon??? and the other part in the film sounds just like the theme from zombi 2..

  • Yes, Frizzi reused his style many times, also in The Beyond.

  • Hey Joorum would you be so cool to burn me a CD of this? I would pay a decent price for it. I've tried like hell to find a copy but the only one I could find was something like $120.00 on Amazon!!!! Never hurts to ask I guess.

  • Right now I don't even have all the tracks on my computer. If I were to recover them, I'd consider sending them via email.

  • The mood the old cameras created plus the sound selection in classic fulci made for some scare movies. Sad how with all of the new high quality movies out. VHS tape horror movies still at least with me create a much better mood. The "crappy" quality still the best.

  • Exactly!

  • All I remember, is that the music annoyed the piss out of me while watching the movie

  • @WarriorFootball I agree with you. Its sad that nobody else does.

  • Didnt even know this was on CD, ive tried looking for some of frizzis scores in the uk and have had no luck.

  • I'm watching this film right now and it's awesome. I keep playing 1:00-3:00 over the parts without a soundtrack lol.

  • @talhavai You got that right. It still works for the film, though.
